The background

I've spent years working remotely for some of the fastest-moving SaaS companies in the world. Async-first teams, automated workflows, tools that talk to each other so people don't have to. That became my baseline for what a well-run operation looks like.

When I started looking at other industries, ones that hadn't had the same wave of tooling investment, the gap was stark. Capable teams, running hard, held back by systems that weren't built for them.
